About The Position

The (USA) Manager, Operations leads multiple work streams by designing and executing project plans that enhance operational efficiency and drive business results. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop innovative solutions, and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals. The manager oversees resource allocation, monitors project progress, and ensures compliance with company standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to influence stakeholders, optimize processes, and support the development and success of associates within the operations organization. The Operations team leads strategic initiatives to enhance driver acquisition, onboarding, activation, and supply performance for Walmart’s Spark Driver platform. Collaborating across multiple functions, the team drives programs to ensure optimal driver supply supporting eCommerce growth. They identify operational opportunities, develop scalable solutions, and manage cross-functional execution to improve marketplace efficiency and fulfillment reliability. Emphasizing strong analytical skills, operational rigor, effective communication, adaptability, and accountability, the team addresses complex challenges in a dynamic environment, fostering continuous improvement and delivering impactful results aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple operational work streams with strong project planning and execution skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve results.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including hiring, training, mentoring, and fostering team accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey project status, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in applying business measures and analytical methodologies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
