About The Position

Boston Pizza International is seeking a Manager, Operations Excellence for a 12 to 18-month temporary contract. This hybrid role, based in either Richmond, British Columbia, or Mississauga, Ontario, involves supporting restaurant operations and execution through the development, coordination, and delivery of training content, communications, and system initiatives. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, training, or related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and able to work well with cross-functional teams, while also being comfortable working independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable creating, formatting, editing, and updating presentations, training resources, and communication materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Open to learning and using new tools and technology, including AI-supported solutions.
  • Experience supporting or facilitating training sessions, meetings, or presentations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is considered an asset.
  • Experience in restaurant operations is considered a strong asset for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, editing, formatting, and maintenance of training resources, presentations, communications, graphics, reports, and spreadsheets using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, and AI-supported technology.
  • Enhance and streamline learning materials based on restaurant feedback and operational insights to keep content engaging, practical, learner-focused, and easy to use.
  • Work cross-functionally to support key initiatives, system rollouts, communication, coordination, and follow-up activities.
  • Support and at times facilitate virtual and in-person events, training sessions, presentations, and team meetings.
  • Coordinate meetings and project activities, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, note-taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Manage multiple inboxes and platform communications, acting as a key point of contact for inquiries, ensuring timely responses, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Support additional projects and tasks as required to meet team and business needs.
