The Manager, Operations & Event Services plays a central role in how people experience the Chamber. This role owns the day-to-day operations of the Chamber office and Microsoft Events Center, creating a professional, welcoming, and well-run environment for employees, tenants, members, and guests. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys making things work. The Manager manages the Chamber’s 2,500-square-foot Microsoft Events Center, which accommodates events of up to 150 attendees, while managing workplace operations, office services, facilities coordination, vendors, budgets, inventory, and operational logistics. From preparing for a major event to resolving an unexpected workplace issue, this role has the autonomy to set priorities, make decisions, and keep operations moving. As the Seattle Metro Chamber’s primary front-office presence, the Manager serves as a visible and trusted point of contact for employees, members, partners, tenants, and guests. The role sets the tone for a welcoming and professional environment while overseeing visitor services, incoming calls, general inquiries, and the day-to-day needs of the workplace. Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong organization, attention to detail, and a practical, service-oriented approach.
