About The Position

The Manager, Operations leads multiple work streams within the operations organization by designing and executing project plans, managing timelines, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders. This role drives process improvements, resource allocation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance business efficiency and meet strategic goals. The position requires strong communication, influencing skills, and the ability to develop innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with company standards. The Manager fosters cross-functional partnerships, supports team development, and champions continuous improvement to deliver operational excellence and contribute to Walmart’s overall success. The Capacity Planning team ensures Store Fulfillment areas are designed, built, and operated to meet performance goals. This team manages the full lifecycle from demand forecasting and design approval to field execution strategy. Serving as the key connection between design, real estate, and operations, the team delivers scalable, high-performing fulfillment spaces across Walmart U.S. Members collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes, drive project execution, and support operational excellence. The team values accountability, adaptability, and effective communication to continuously improve fulfillment capabilities and meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing operations and project plans, including organizing timelines and deliverables to meet business objectives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Expertise in process improvement and resource allocation to drive cost reduction and enhance business performance.
  • Accountability and adaptability in managing multiple initiatives while maintaining data accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Influencing skills to build partnerships and support strategic execution across various teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
