The Opportunity Manages and monitors operational performance and goals. Provides operational leadership, management, and oversight in the development of current and new process improvement programs to address practice line operations performance. Identifies issues in service and coordinates action plans with Physician leadership and the Practice Operations Director. Supports the Practice Operations Director with the design, development and monitoring of performance metrics. Collect and disseminate system process and best practices in cooperation with Practice Operations Director. Facilitate research and pilot of strategic programs and services that enhance operations in collaboration with Team and Practice Operations Director. Represent the division as a strong and positive leader. Systematically deploy practice knowledge to encourage standard practice within the division. Negotiates, communicates, and coordinates with the practice lines and other departments to implement operational changes and new initiatives. Collaborate with Director to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate growth objectives; Responsible for management of actual performance against budget providing analysis of material variances to department leadership/senior management. Supports financial, budget and business goals. Supports the front line by assisting with start-ups, acting as support for a reasonable number of sites. Assists team members to achieve operational and financial performance at sites through their support, tracking initiatives and consulting initiatives Integrate Vituity resources and services to support, enhance and innovate practices. Support initiatives for regional activities and team meetings. Work with programs and innovation to support collaboratives by identifying sites ready for change, identifying resources to support, and presenting as requested. Ensure operational performance in collaboration with Practice Operations Director and Medical Team. Ensures quality metrics are met. Implements, coordinates, and executes policies and operational initiatives for division. Provides operational support including revenue cycle management, educational programs, and Business Development support. Travel as needed to practice locations for personnel and project support. Establishes standards and objectives for department personnel, defining expectations and goals based on individual skill sets. Reviews performance evaluations on a semi-annual basis and conducts annual performance reviews and goal setting. Meets regularly with department personnel, as a group and individually as needed. Oversees the recruitment, hiring, training, and counseling of department employees in cooperation with physician leaders. Conducts staffing analyses, gap analyses, and forecasts department staffing needs. Prepares proposals and evaluates opportunities for growth and expanded practice line functions.
