About The Position

Under administrative supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, this role is responsible for the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of administrative operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care services within the TGH Infusion Center. The Manager will collaborate with the management team to achieve high-quality patient care outcomes and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include workforce management, such as hiring, directing, and evaluating team members, establishing action plans, and recruiting and supervising staff to support the Cancer Institute. This includes counseling, appraising, disciplining, and rewarding employees, as well as overseeing payroll for designated staff. The role requires performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Nursing
Florida Registered Nurse License
Three (3) years of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

OCN, ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy card preferred.
BLS preferred.
Oncology experience and 5 years of leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate current processes and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care services.
Work closely with leadership to maintain high-quality outcomes and operational efficiency.
Responsible for workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of designated team members.
Counsel, appraise, discipline, and reward employees to maintain compliance and performance standards.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for assigned employees.
Create and maintain operational and administrative reports per TGH and regulatory requirements.
Foster and implement new programs or modify existing ones to address current and future challenges.
Maintain adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and hospital standards.
Uphold patient/customer privacy and report hazards or unsafe practices according to hospital protocols.
Perform all duties in alignment with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values.
