About The Position

The Manager on Duty (MOD) assists the Operations Manager in ensuring the Casino Floor runs smoothly and all guest needs are met. The MOD's performance is crucial for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.

Requirements

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate efficiently in a professional manner.
• Ability to think critically.
• Must be able to and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Two-year college degree in Business or related field from a technical/business school; or two to five years (2-5) related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Casino experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures guests' needs are met to provide superior guest service and makes recommendations to the Operations Manager if needed.
• Handles problems or grievances within the slot department as soon as the need arises.
• Makes critical decisions.
• Follows the prescribed chain of command.
• Assists Operations departments regarding clarification of policies and procedures.
• Verifies accurate paperwork for jackpots and refunds for the slot department.
• Coordinates and communicates with incoming and outgoing managers on duty to ensure effective communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
