About The Position

The Manager of Women’s Imaging Center provides leadership and supervision and coordinates department activities to ensure the safety of patients and staff. The manager ensures compliance with Federal, State, and ACR licensing and regulatory standards for mammography, including accurate auditing of required statistics. The role manages and helps implement data collection to monitor clinical, operational, and financial outcomes, as well as MQSA quality assurance and quality control standards. The manager also performs mammography examinations when needed in accordance with ACR standards.

Requirements

• Current and valid Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist license.
• Certificate or diploma from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Mammography certification by the ARRT.
• Meet ACR and MQSA standards to perform mammography.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One to two years’ experience in an acute care setting within the last three years preferred.
