About The Position

Working under the direction of the Director of Event Operations, the Stadium Event Operations Manager will focus on enhancing gameday logistics and events for both guests and team members. They will achieve this through facilitating collaborative planning with internal and external stakeholders by promoting the M&T Bank Stadium common purpose and quality standards, ensuring that Security and Safety is paramount. This role requires a strong aptitude for leadership, event management and the ability to adapt on the fly to evolving circumstances. This role will have a great influence over how we present M&T Bank Stadium to our guests at every game/event we execute.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sports, events, hospitality, or facility management, MBA is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in managing facilities/events, team members and contractual partners.
  • Collaboration with local and state agencies a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office a must.
  • Demonstrated experience with planning, budgeting, setting up and executing events.
  • Previous experience with sports team/stadium venue preferred.
  • Experience with facilitating staffing plans and event calendars.
  • Experience with 24/7 Software IMS, Text, and NFL League reporting preferred.
  • Experience with Momentus, Social Tables/Event Draw preferred.
  • Must be a dynamic, out-going, self-motivated individual with outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal Ravens departments hosting events at M&T Bank Stadium to provide direction, continuous improvement, and the creation of new content/executions for Raven’s events.
  • Oversee set up, execution, and breakdown of all Ravens internal events, providing operations staffing for all phases of the event.
  • Execute pre event checklists prior to all Ravens internal events, ensuring the set up and on-site staff are all prepared for guests arriving.
  • Assist with the coordination of stadium partner staffing & execution plans for all Ravens Internal events, ensuring all stadium partners fully understand their role prior to and during the event.
  • Assist in managing and executing Ravens related third party events at M&T Bank Stadium which could include concerts, soccer, college & high school football and non-football related events such as commercials or corporate events.
  • Assist the Director of Event Operations with the M&T Stadium Events Calendar in conjunction with Hospitality Evermore, Relentless Events, and MSA Facilities.
  • Assist the Director of Event Operations in the command center on gameday, ensuring that operations are running smoothly and effectively.
  • Ensure staff understands how to properly use 24/7 incident management software, communicator/chat applications, as well as manage game day movements from within the command center.
  • Create & oversee analytics dashboard on game day to visualize all incidents and response times in real time to ensure incidents are being handled in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Guest Experience, the Ticket Office, and the Director of Event Operations to help handle post-game/event feedback.
  • Work with Stadium Operations Manager and the Director of Event Operations to execute all day of game/event security perimeter signage, bike rack, magnetometers, ticket scanning, and communications devices both internal and external are fully operational and distributed.
  • Assist the Director of Event Operations with the post-game reporting process.
  • Lead and oversee the implementation of the NFL Credentialing program with all stadium partner organizations, ensuring all printed credentials and access control technology is finalized and operational prior to each game.
  • Follow the directives of DHS Safety Act, NFL Security Best Practices and NFL Fan Code of Conduct to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience possible for our guests.
  • Ensure security & quality control are built into all event operations plans for Ravens internal events.
  • Initiate and create guest warning letters and documentation across multiple electronic platforms.
  • Assist with managing the Stadium Operations Department budget.
  • Assist in preparing for and forecasting the operational budget for the following season.
  • Assist with managing the posting and selection process for our annual full season intern(s), as well as part time event staff.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of interns, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful event execution and professional development.
  • Work with the Sr. Project Manager and Director of Stadium Operations to help plan, manage, and execute stadium projects and renovations.
  • Assist in preparing the stadium for inclement weather, removal of snow & ice and ensuring all guest and team members safety.
