About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a program that serves 600+ clients. The primary objective of this department is to mentor clients towards making better financial decisions and moving towards financial independence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Experience with 1-1 interaction with client with identifying needs and goals for service plan
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Accufund, QuickBooks, Peachtree
  • Clean/valid NYS Driver’s License
  • Enthusiastic support of our Mission Statement

Nice To Haves

  • AAS Degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred
  • (1) year management and supervisory experience Preferred
  • (2) years of experience working with special populations in the area of recovery, homelessness and mental illness Required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all new client referrals, including Adult Protective Services.
  • Attend community meetings to market the program.
  • Respond to external inquiries regarding program and clients.
  • Interview, train and supervise employees. Includes, but not limited to, meeting regularly with employees, monitoring daily activities, managing work performance/performance review process, addressing corrective action concerns and providing guidance and supportive feedback.
  • Provide training, support and follow up to employees related to programming, computer use, etc.
  • Act as administrator for TrueLink debit card program
  • Ensure that the department’s workload is processed in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and maintain appropriate caseloads for employees.
  • Develop new programming and recruitment of new clients to serve for this program.
  • Enhance the use of computer software for efficient processes and reporting.
  • Develop departmental processes, procedure and incident reporting manual.
  • Develop a software training manual.
  • Develop process, submit and maintain accurate internal and external reports in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all clients.
  • Report to supervisor immediately crisis situations that demand administrative counsel.
  • Lead staff meetings and 1-1 meetings with employees.
  • Abide by all Mission and program policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and trainings as requested by supervisor.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable attitude on the Mission campus.
  • All other duties as requested by your supervisor.
