About The Position

The Manager of Reg Imaging Services manages and coordinates the delivery of health care services in diagnostic imaging at the regional hospital and ambulatory health center sites. This role plans, allocates and administers the resources necessary for the fiscal, physical and staffing requirements of diagnostic services. Directs and monitors all of the technical aspects of Imaging. Maintains equipment, supplies and completes payroll for all departments in the regional hospital sites.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years recent supervisory experience required (5+ years preferred)
  • Graduate of accredited Radiology or Imaging program
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years relevant Imaging experience
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) , Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography required upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience in an outpatient facility preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and monitor capital equipment needs. Works with Regional Directors on annual capital requests and related renovations and installation of new equipment.
  • Recommends scheduling of personnel, participate in counseling and disciplinary actions, when necessary.
  • Prepares monthly variances reports by gathering data and analyzing the results. Collaborates with Vice President, Finance Director and Regional Director by 25th of each month identifying trends in data with recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversees the hiring, orientation and evaluation of new employees.
  • Assures compliance with The Joint Commission, DOH, ACR and other regulatory agencies.
  • Assures the safe operation of all imaging departments with respect to radiation safety, hazardous materials, fire safety, infection control and equipment maintenance.
  • Assures compliance with Environmental of Care and Continuous Survey Readiness rounds for Joint Commission Preparedness.
  • Works with all departments to ensure greater than 90th percentile in Outpatient Satisfaction surveys.
  • Documentation and reporting adverse events in the Patient Event System.
