Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Program Manager 3, to serve as a Program Manager for the E-6B Mercury Integrated Maintenance and Modification Contract (IMMC) and join our diverse team of professionals located at Lake Charles, LA. As the E-6B Mercury IMMC Program Manager you will oversee both components of our E-6B Program with support from the Deputy Program Managers that drive the E-6B Periodic Maintenance Inspection (PMI) and our E-6B IMMC BLK II maintenance and modification program. The Navy E-6b Mercury is an airborne command post and communications relay based on the Boeing 707 platform. The aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. This platform, now modified to the E-6B standard, conveys instructions from the National Command Authority to fleet ballistic missile submarines, a mission known as TACAMO ("Take Charge And Move Out"). Program Managers are responsible for leading all phases of the E-6B program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout).
