This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. The Supplier Management Team Lead’s (SMTL) primary responsibilities are to establish and maintain all of the Guidance Computer Subsystem’s subcontract operations to execute the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of a subcontract. The particular subcontract of interest involves the fabrication, assembly and test of the Guidance Computer Subsystem, including multiple circuit card assemblies (CCA) into the larger configured item subsystem. Essential functions include, but are not limited to: • Enforcement of subcontractor execution of a Statement of Work (SOW) and support of contract modifications as necessary • Planning, risk management, and project performance management addressing cost, schedule and technical quality for related Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements • Responsible to manage subcontractor’s performance. Helps to resolve technical and operational problems. Typically accomplishes results through lower level(s) of technical advisement, subject matter experts (SMEs), or focused oversight of subcontractor • Enforcement of subcontractor execution of a Statement of Work (SOW) and support of contract modifications as necessary • Planning, risk management, and project performance management addressing cost, schedule and technical quality for related Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements • Responsible to manage subcontractor’s performance.
