About The Position
Manages the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of all MEP systems, equipment for Facilities Management which includes, but is not limited to, all water, sanitary, stea, gas, electric, air handling systems, related fixed equipment, rolling and moveable mechanical equipment, operations of the boiler plant, generator plant, chiller plant, medical waste, disposal system, and the hospital recycling program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree program
- Five (5) years progressively greater responsibility in facilities management
- Experience in operating, maintaining, and supervising a variety of MEP systems in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with environmental standards
- Working knowledge of NYS codes, JCAHO regulations, and DOH requirements as related to the healthcare industry
Nice To Haves
- Licensure as a professional engineer is highly desirable
Responsibilities
