This role serves as a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for Finance and Procurement processes and stakeholders within the US Region, covering Record to Report, IBP Finance, and Source to Pay. The position involves leading the execution of the global Finance roadmap in the US, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and ensuring alignment with global strategy. The Manager of IT Finance will represent Global IT to US Finance and Procurement stakeholders, establish regular BRM meetings, and collaborate with Global IT Finance colleagues to maintain global process standards. Key responsibilities include leading the execution of the Global Finance and Procurement roadmap in the US to achieve standardization and compliance, building business cases for new projects, and working with team members and other IT teams to enhance service levels, security, and user satisfaction for Finance and Procurement systems. The role also involves auditing the application of Finance and Procurement standards, contributing to budget collection and analysis, and performing business analysis activities such as gathering requirements, estimating effort, contributing to project deliverables, reviewing technical requirements, and ensuring systems meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Management, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience working across multi functions and business processes including the Finance and consulting.
  • 5 years of experience in ERP (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar)
  • 5 years of experience in invoice imaging software
  • 5 years of experience in procurement software
  • 5 years of experience in planning and budgeting software

Responsibilities

  • Act as Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for the Finance and Procurement processes and their stakeholders in the US Region including Record to Report, IBP Finance, and Source to Pay.
  • Lead the execution of the global Finance roadmap in the US Region.
  • Propose opportunities for Finance and Procurement improvements, business process enhancements and simplification in alignment with global strategy and direction.
  • Represent Global IT in front of US Finance and Procurement stakeholders.
  • Implement regular BRM meetings with key Finance and Procurement leaders.
  • Partner with Global IT Finance colleagues to ensure continued alignment with global process standards and best practices.
  • Lead Global Finance and Procurement roadmap execution in the US Region to obtain the full benefits of standardization/compliance/harmonization with Galderma best practices and business models.
  • Build business cases for new ideas of projects in collaboration with Business and IT stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and other IT teams to continually improve Service Levels, (Incidents/Requests/Changes), Security Compliance and User Satisfaction of the systems that support Finance and Procurement processes.
  • Audit proper application of Finance and Procurement standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to budget collection and analysis locally and for global rollup.
  • Engage in business analysis activities as needed such as gather and document new functional requirements; provide analysis about complexity and effort estimation based on business requirements; contribute to project deliverables including vision documents, status reports, test plans, validation protocols, etc.; assist in reviewing the technical requirements for systems, including security, integration, performance, and quality requirements; and, engage with technical support teams to ensure systems are meeting business needs and that changes are delivered as requested.
