About The Position

HUB Retirement & Private Wealth (RPW) is seeking a Manager of Investment Services to lead the trading, portfolio implementation, and investment operations function for our private wealth management client accounts. This role includes the day-to-day execution of trades, the implementation of model portfolios and rebalances, and the oversight of investment monitoring and reporting workflows in close partnership with the firm's advisors. This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced investment professional who can move fluently between portfolio execution, performance reporting, and client-facing investment discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in trading, investment operations, or portfolio management within wealth management, an RIA, or a broker-dealer environment preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 65 or 66, active, required
  • Proficiency with custodial platforms, particularly Charles Schwab, preferred
  • Experience with rebalancing and portfolio management software such as iRebal or Orion preferred
  • Familiarity with Morningstar Workstation and eMoney preferred
  • CFA or CFP® designation, or meaningful progress toward one of these credentials, preferred
  • Prior experience in a multi-advisor private wealth practice preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting investment concepts directly to clients
  • High level of attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily trading activity across equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and fixed income on behalf of private wealth client accounts.
  • Implement model portfolio updates, rebalances, cash raises, and tax-aware adjustments using iRebal, Orion, or equivalent portfolio management software.
  • Oversee post-execution reconciliation, exception reporting, and resolution of trade errors.
  • Coordinate with custodians, primarily Charles Schwab, on operational and trading matters.
  • Own ongoing portfolio monitoring across performance, risk, style drift, and peer benchmarking.
  • Lead the preparation of investment monitoring reports, performance summaries, and review materials for advisor and client meetings.
  • Develop investment presentations for prospect meetings and new business opportunities.
  • Track market trends, current investment conditions, and regulatory developments relevant to the firm's investment strategy.
  • Oversee the administration of client investment accounts, including account setup, transfers, distributions, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain operational standards and documentation consistent with firm policy and regulatory standards.
  • Drive process improvements to trading and operations workflows as the practice scales.
  • Partner with RPW advisors throughout the sales and service cycle to deliver well-rounded investment support.
  • Attend client review meetings to present and discuss investment analyses at the account and macro level.
  • Serve as an internal subject-matter resource on portfolio construction, trading, and investment platforms.
