About The Position

The Manager of District Relations is an individual who excels in relationship and project management skills to work with a group of dedicated volunteer leaders to produce CASE’s District member engagement in US and Canada. The person in this role will be responsible for volunteer stewardship and internal coordination to enhance the volunteer experience and ensure program quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Progressive experience in project management
  • At least 3 years of volunteer management experience
  • Must exhibit superior customer service skills and the ability and desire to interact effectively with a variety of constituents, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate second and third order outcomes in decision making
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detailed-oriented self-starter with the ability to establish priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously and exercise judgment in handling responsibilities.
  • Outstanding communications skills, verbal and written, that allow engagement with levels of all stakeholders within an organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must have technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), as well as various software systems and products, including association management systems, learning management systems, constituent relationship management systems, HubSpot a plus
  • A pro-active and can-do attitude, even when working under pressure and with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for district online events (registration, communications, website, evaluations), including ToGathers and online seminars.
  • In collaboration with district volunteers and staff colleagues, coordinate meeting logistics.
  • Track cabinet member contact information/demographics in appropriate systems.
  • Provide support to Legacy Fund Committee, including drafting application portal and setting up Community space.
  • Track District Transition Fund expenses and manage transfer of funds.
  • Supports/organizes logistics for various divisionally hosted meetings as necessary
  • Work with district volunteers to ensure maintenance of website content.
  • Coordinate with Cabinet leadership for appointment and tracking of all Liaison volunteer roles as well as assist CASE Liaison Points of Contact as needed with meeting logistics
  • Receive and process volunteer expense reimbursements.
  • Track and report on Transition Fund expenditures for each District
  • Track and report on Legacy Fund allocations & Legacy Fund Grant funding
  • Manage district individual achievement award selection and recognition timelines, including judge training, district-wide announcements and website updates, and procurement and distribution of Laureate gifts.
  • Work with each of the eight Districts to design and execute on conference scholarship awards as necessary
  • Assist Director of Volunteer Engagement with Regional Awards as necessary
  • Become power user in LineUp and reMembers
  • Develop proficiency in HubSpot, particularly the creation of Sequences for member outreach
  • Work with team members inside MEV to develop volunteer engagement tracking and metrics to demonstrate value/impact of volunteer service to CASE and sector
  • Works cooperatively and diplomatically with all divisions and regions.
  • Liaises with CASE colleagues in other parts of the world to ensure the best sharing of ideas, expertise, and knowledge.
  • Incorporates tasks and/or projects related to objectives as directed by the CASE Strategic Plan.
  • Represents CASE in a respectable and professional manner as required in key volunteer engagement.
  • In keeping with the CASE Values Statement, ensures that CASE is well represented by exercising a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and ethics, in all activities, services, and products.
  • Exercises fiscal responsibility in the utilization of all CASE resources.
  • Works closely with event experience and education programs team to finalize district conference budget.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
