About The Position

Network Health is seeking a Manager of Compliance to provide leadership support to strengthen and sustain compliance efforts throughout the entire Network Health by providing strategic direction, coordination and oversight of compliance activities. The Manager ensures that compliance considerations and proactive controls are tied into every phase of business planning and operations, including the development and oversight of program wide compliance and training, monitoring and reporting tools. The manager of compliance serves as the direct Manager for compliance specialists and auditors. Location: Candidates must reside in the state of Wisconsin for consideration. With our hybrid workplace model, this position is eligible to work 3 days a week at your home office (reliable internet is required), and 2 days a week at one of our corporate offices in Menasha or Brookfield. Hours: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday

Requirements

  • Bachelors s Degree or eight years of compliance related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Medicare Part C/D knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience supporting or managing external regulatory audits is preferred
  • Previous experience in reviewing and interpreting regulatory requirements and sub-regulatory guidance is preferred
  • Previous managerial experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of compliance, project work, and audit plans
  • Support external regulatory audit engagements
  • Act as a compliance resource for teams and departments, across the organization
  • Identifies and implements compliance requirements and conducts related analyses and reports results
  • Participates on the Privacy and Compliance Committee and applicable work groups for monitoring internal and external relations with operations and delegated entities
  • Validates and reviews the compliance program and content, including design and execution of risk assessments and/or audits and investigation of reports of non-compliance
  • Provides professional/technical guidance to team members, direct reports, and impacted stakeholders, and assists in the development of solutions for complex problems based on results from conducted audits
  • Creates/ revises compliance standards, policies and procedures
  • Supports development of and/or conducts compliance and ethics training
  • Participates in and monitors State and Federal discussions and guidance related to the oversight of insurance products to identify and proactively respond to updates and changes and to further identify any areas of risk and opportunity
  • Support various regulatory filings and data submission, as needed
  • Reviews and monitors compliance issues received by the team to ensure proper resolution
  • Provides leadership and evaluation of the compliance specialists and auditors to help ensure productivity and continuous process improvement within the compliance department
  • Supervises assigned staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, recommending salary increases, discipline and terminating. Consults with supervisor and human resources relative to hiring, salary determination, discipline and termination of individual staff.
