About The Position

This role is responsible for managing clinical vendor and site contracts, acting as the main point of contact for vendor relationships, and negotiating terms for various clinical projects. The position involves developing vendor selection programs, coordinating management activities, and ensuring accurate invoice processing and budget reconciliation. Additionally, the role entails drafting, negotiating, and finalizing site contracts and budgets, tracking institutional costs, and communicating effectively with clinical sites regarding various aspects of clinical trials.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal terms including MSAs, work orders, POs, amendments, etc.
  • Previous work experience executing contracts and document signatures.
  • Previous work experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating unit costs and total budgets.
  • Previous work experience with vendors/third parties.
  • Reading and understanding vendor scope from protocol/RFP.
  • Previous work experience with creating budgets and estimating costs without a pricing tool system.
  • Experience with subject procedures and site fees.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to extrapolate budget calculations.
  • Strong skills and working knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to QC/find errors.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact and represent the Company in vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate scope of work, product pricing, and contracts with vendors for clinical projects.
  • Liaise with the Company Business Development team to obtain proposals from vendors.
  • Develop and implement vendor selection programs, preferred partnerships, and volume discounts.
  • Coordinate vendor management activities and processes.
  • Suggest vendor management processes, policies, and methods.
  • Track, review, and approve vendor invoices.
  • Reconcile vendor budgets.
  • Amend, renew, and close out vendor contracts.
  • Maintain internal vendor archiving and documentation.
  • Update contract terms of existing vendors.
  • Estimate investigator grants for Sponsor RFPs.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize site contracts and amendments.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize site budgets and amendments.
  • Track institutional costs and legal language for contracts across multiple sites.
  • Track, review, and approve site invoices.
  • Communicate and work effectively with clinical sites regarding pricing, stipends, advertising, enrollment, study start dates, and legal terms.
  • Establish master service agreements (MSAs).
  • Develop and negotiate rate cards for MSAs.
