Manages a sub unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures. Represents the sub unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff. Supports occupational health needs for employees, faculty, residents, students, and volunteers. Coordinates and administers annual clinical competency assessments for nursing and clinical support staff. Monitors and maintains nursing and medical assistant licensure and certification compliance. Ensures adherence to institutional, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Reduces organizational risk associated with expired credentials, incomplete competencies, and employee health compliance deficiencies. Enhances workforce onboarding, retention, employee well-being, and patient safety initiatives.
