About The Position

The Manager - Nursing Education develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs that enhance the clinical knowledge, skills, and professional development of nursing staff, students, and other healthcare team members. The role supports continuous learning to promote high-quality patient care, adherence to clinical standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a people-leader role with hiring and firing authority. The manager oversees an area of responsibility and achieves goals through direct and/or indirect reports, managing professional-level employees within a job area. The position focuses on tactical and operational plans and short- to mid-term strategy. It develops solutions to moderately complex problems, escalates more complex issues when needed, and ensures staff are used efficiently and daily work is completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
