About The Position

The Manager, Nurse plays a critical leadership role in overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within healthcare facilities across the United States. This position is responsible for managing nursing teams, coordinating clinical operations, and implementing policies that promote patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations. The Manager, Nurse serves as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administrative leadership to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment. They are instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, staff development, and resource management to optimize patient outcomes. Ultimately, this role ensures that nursing services align with organizational goals and meet the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare community.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate clinical operations effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and nursing best practices.
  • Proficiency with healthcare technology and data analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in Nursing Management or Leadership (e.g., Nurse Executive Certification).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare informatics.
  • Proven track record of quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs.
  • Familiarity with budget management and resource planning in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff performance to maintain high standards of patient care.
