About The Position

This role provides oversight of either Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Services, Contract Maintenance or Maintenance Plant Support groups. The Manager will provide technical and administrative direction to the teams' supervisors, ensuring an adequate level of trained and qualified personnel to implement required maintenance activities. Responsibilities include ensuring team activities are performed in accordance with applicable site procedures, approving the training and qualification of team personnel, and approving Maintenance procedures. The Manager is responsible for managing their respective areas/systems through the team Supervisors who direct the day-to-day activities of their personnel, ensuring maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with applicable procedures, instructions, policies, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Four years related Maintenance experience.
  • Two years nuclear power plant experience.
  • During the two years, the individual shall have participated in supervisory or management activities of an operating nuclear power plant.
  • Six months on-site experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, technical & administrative direction, and professional development for craft and supervisor personnel.
  • Manage a multi-million dollar budget to include allocation of funding for Maintenance contracts including resources and critical on-boarding.
  • Oversee & assist in the administration of Maintenance section training & qualification program.
  • Manage special projects as requested by the Maintenance Director.
  • Development & approval of Maintenance guidelines & procedures.
  • Respond & reconcile emergent work activities as deemed necessary by Operations Management.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with applicable procedures, instructions, policies and regulations.
  • Professional Interface with outside entities such as NRC, INPO, & ORC.
