Requirements

Bachelors degree
8+ years experience as a Network/Cloud/Infrastructure Architect

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree
AWS Certified (Solutions Architect or Advanced Networking)
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer Certification
Cisco CCNP
ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies is a plus
Knowledge of manufacturing segmentation architectures with deployment experience
Knowledge of system monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Analytical skills, experience solving practical issues, and engaging teams of multiple process partners to consensus
Experience managing third-party vendors both for operations support and project delivery, such as network refresh (life-cycle management) programs
Experience in a Global and International work environment
Experience designing and implementing connectivity and troubleshooting within AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms. This includes an understanding of the cloud provider platforms, and their native networking services/tools
Experience with Cisco equipment and operating systems, including configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and support of routers and switches
Experience conducting short- and long-term planning to meet network requirements
LAN and WAN protocols and topologies (EIGRP, BGP, MPLS)
Experience with switching technologies (VLANs, Spanning-Tree, VSS)
Experience in security technologies including Palo Alto firewalls, VPN and Remote Access

Responsibilities

Directly oversee, mentor, and empower a broad team of 20 network experts, cultivating a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous growth.
Plan and architect enterprise-scale LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Center deployments. Spearhead the integration of core network services, including L2/L3 switching, BGP and EIGRP routing, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Load Balancing, IPAM, DNS/DHCP, Firewalls, IPSec VPN, and SD-WAN.
Champion the design, implementation, and maintenance of our multi-region, multi-cloud (AWS/GCP/OCI) network environment, seamlessly supporting our IaaS VPCs and accelerating our cloud-native (PaaS) capabilities.
Lead and participate in high-impact network security initiatives, including driving critical manufacturing segmentation deployments to secure our global footprint.
Serve as the ultimate escalation point, providing expert trouble resolution for critical, high-priority core network issues. Ensure after hours support coverage to sustain network service levels which include complex technical changes to support projects and/or operations deployments (24/7).
Proactively identify essential network maintenance tasks and build the structured processes needed to implement them flawlessly.
Evaluate, manage, and evolve our core network monitoring and diagnostic tools, ensuring our NOC has the deep visibility and mature workflows required to proactively support our global network.
