Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/ Position Overview: The MT Group Finance – LRFP Lead is responsible for shaping the long-range financial outlook for Johnson & Johnson MedTech and providing strategic, data-driven insights that support enterprise decision-making and the long-term growth of the business. This role serves as a key partner to senior finance and business leaders, translating complex financial and market dynamics into actionable recommendations and a clear business narrative. The preferred locations are New Brunswick or Titusville, NJ. Other J&J office locations or remote arrangements may be considered for the right candidate, with the expectation of travel to New Brunswick for key business reviews and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting, strategic planning, or related business experience within a complex, multinational organization.
  • Demonstrated financial modeling and analytical expertise, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with experience developing and delivering insights to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to translate data into compelling business narratives and influence decision-making across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively leading and influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in MedTech, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or other highly regulated global industries.
  • Long-Range Financial Planning (LRFP), strategic planning, business partnering, or portfolio management experience.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced finance or business credential

Responsibilities

  • Drive robust risk, opportunity, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making and inform enterprise planning activities.
  • Partner closely with Global Business Unit and Center Finance teams to establish planning assumptions and develop integrated financial outlooks.
  • Support critical enterprise and sector-level processes, including Strategic Planning, Portfolio Reviews, Enterprise Business Reviews, and other executive-facing deliverables.
  • Collaborate extensively with MedTech Business Units, Center Finance, Enterprise Finance, the Office of MedTech Strategy, Investor Relations, and other key stakeholders to deliver aligned internal and external financial reporting and communications.
  • Develop executive-ready financial narratives that connect business performance, market dynamics, and strategic priorities to enable informed decision-making by senior leaders.
  • Continuously enhance the LRFP process, tools, and analytical capabilities to improve forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and business insights.
  • Incorporate external market perspectives, investor expectations, and consensus benchmarks into planning discussions and long-range outlooks.
  • Partner with cross-functional initiatives and strategic workstreams, including Margin Expansion and Long-Range Portfolio Planning (LRPP), to ensure alignment and integration with financial planning processes.
  • Support annual target-setting activities, translating long-range planning assumptions into business plan deliverables.
  • Serve as the Finance SME for LRFP-related Signifi/EPM initiatives, driving process harmonization and system adoption.
  • Lead development of quarterly Investor Relations performance bridges for the MedTech sector, synthesizing results across businesses and framing key performance drivers.
  • Lead and contribute to high-impact strategic projects, executive analyses, and special requests.
