About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Power BI / MSSQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI and MSSQL database. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and collaborate with the team in data modeling and programming activities to produce actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Requirements

Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data security environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their BI services.
Certification in Power BI or related technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently loaded into the BI system.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions meet their needs.
Optimize Power BI reports, internal processes and programs for performance and usability.
Document BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and report specifications.
Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the BI environment.
