The Manager, Material Pricing is responsible for leading the strategic pricing lifecycle for complex global accounts. This role will be focused on the strategic oversight of material costs, New Product Introduction (NPI), pricing roll outs, and quote validation. The Manager acts as the primary bridge between internal stakeholders (Sourcing, Engineering, Finance) and external customers, ensuring that pricing is competitive, audited, and aligned with market commodity trends. They are responsible for maintaining pricing integrity across compressed schedules and multi-region timezones (Asia/US). Detailed Description Matrix manage cross-functional teams (Sourcing, Engineering, Commodity Management) to expedite high-quality quotes and ensure adherence to tight deadlines. Critically analyze and challenge internal cost inputs. Ensure all quotes are validated against market benchmarks before customer presentation. Lead the pricing strategy for NPI projects, ensuring seamless transition from initial bid to Mass Production. Establish and oversee consistent tracking methods to maintain price baselines over long cycles (months/years). Maintain rigorous justification logs for all pricing fluctuations between bid stages and MP. Leverage expert knowledge of the commodity market to predict impacts on Bill of Materials (BOM) and advise leadership on risk mitigation. Direct the setup and analysis of complex, multi-level BOMs, ensuring accuracy in high-volume data environments. Manage the generation and tracking of Recovery Management Systems (RMS) to ensure cost recoveries are captured and reported accurately. Act as the lead point of contact for both external customer procurement leads and internal executive teams. Maintain flexibility to lead and attend critical sync meetings across Asia and US timezones to ensure global alignment.
