About The Position

At Factor, our business moves as fast as our production lines. To stay ahead, our data must be flawless. We are looking for a Manager of Master Data & Systems Integration to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our product data. You will be the architect of our SKU "source of truth," ensuring that every data point—from the initial procurement of raw ingredients to the final plating and fulfillment scan—is accurate, scalable, and technically sound. Your primary challenge will be harmonization. Currently, Factor’s unique operational needs are often met with localized workarounds. You will be the primary liaison between Factor and the Global Tech teams, defending Factor’s technical requirements while leading the transition to a unified global toolset. In this role, you aren't just managing a database; you are owning the operational narrative of our product. You must understand the "life of a SKU" better than anyone else. You will sit at the intersection of Culinary, Supply Chain, and Global Engineering, ensuring that our systems speak the same language. You will be the "Voice of Factor" in global forums, ensuring that as we move toward one unified tool, our specific complexities in Ready-to-Eat (RTE) production are prioritized and preserved.

  • Identify where "manual friction" exists and architect digital solutions to eliminate it.
  • Develop KPI and Metric reporting.
  • Translate Factor’s complex operational workflows into technical requirements for Global Product and Engineering teams.
  • Lead the project to migrate Factor from legacy/local tools to the global HelloFresh tech stack.
  • Represent Factor in global steering committees.
  • Defend the necessity of specific data attributes.
  • Systematically audit and retire the Google Sheet "shadow systems."
  • Replace "shadow systems" with robust, automated global features.
  • Work with developers to ensure that Factor’s ERP and production floor tools "talk" to the Global Data Lake.
  • Implement and operationalize automated, AI-driven tools for real-time master data quality monitoring.
  • Embed AI features and copilots into core operational workflows.
  • Ensure all system integrations are architecturally sound.
  • Oversee the SKU onboarding process.
  • Develop and oversee SKU retirement process.
  • Lead the investigation to fix the systemic root cause of data discrepancies.
  • Establish auditing practice for F_ master data.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Master Data strategy from SKU inception/onboarding through procurement, cook-chill cycles, plating, and final box fulfillment.
  • Establish and enforce "gold standard" protocols for data entry and maintenance, ensuring that yields, nutritional values, and operational specifications are infallible.
  • Document the intricate flow of data across our systems, identifying where "manual friction" exists and architecting digital solutions to eliminate it.
  • Establish KPIs and metric reporting to understand and measure data quality.
  • Translate Factor’s complex operational workflows into technical requirements for Global Product and Engineering teams.
  • Lead the project to migrate Factor from legacy/local tools to the global HelloFresh tech stack. You will ensure that the "Global" solution actually solves "Factor" problems.
  • Represent Factor in global steering committees. You will defend the necessity of specific data attributes (e.g., plating sequences, temperature thresholds) that are critical to our RTE model but may differ from traditional meal kits.
  • Systematically audit and retire the Google Sheet "shadow systems" currently used to bridge gaps, replacing them with robust, automated global features.
  • Work with developers to ensure that Factor’s ERP and production floor tools "talk" to the Global Data Lake without loss of nuance or accuracy.
  • Implement and operationalize automated, AI-driven tools for real-time master data quality monitoring, including duplicate detection, enrichment, and anomaly alerts, to ensure the foundation for scalable AI adoption.
  • Actively embed AI features and copilots into core operational workflows—including the use of prompt libraries and shared AI instructions—to move teams from manual workarounds to consistent, value-generating decision-making and improved cycle times.
  • Ensure all system integrations (API and schema alignment) are architecturally sound to support mid-term, AI-driven automation initiatives, such as Touchless Ordering, predictive cost models, and autonomous operations at scale.
  • Oversee the SKU onboarding process, ensuring that new ingredients and recipes move through the system with zero data bottlenecks. Develop and oversee SKU retirement process as part of lifecycle management.
  • When a data discrepancy causes a production delay or a fulfillment error, you will lead the investigation to fix the systemic root cause, not just the symptom.
  • Establish auditing practice for F_ master data including both completeness and accuracy.
