About The Position
Manage all aspects of the maintenance department and engineering, including managing maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance, and new equipment installations and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree – Technical Management or Plastics Engineering
- RJG Training Certifications – Systematic
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree
- Experience in injection molding, tooling management, and facility maintenance
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and train a cohesive team for maintenance and engineering employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
- Oversee all corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems.
- Oversee the design, planning, and execution of capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
- Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase the throughput.
- Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions to drive metric improvements.
- Maintain spend forecast and approve monthly R&M spend for the facility.
- Organize, lead, and track capital projects.
- Partner with production and quality teams to introduce new processes, improve existing equipment, and support operational excellence.
- Maintain facility standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
