About The Position

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, and supports Spirit’s Commercial Business Units. Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including fuselages, pylons, nacelles, and wing components, using composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions. The Manager - Logistics integrates disciplines across Materials Management and Transportation, applying specialized technical expertise to support business objectives. The role develops, integrates, implements, and executes multidisciplinary business processes, working cross-functionally with internal and external customers and suppliers and employees at all levels.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of managing 3PLs, shipping, warehousing, receiving, and internal logistics functions.
• Project management experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with SAP.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with aerospace manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse management.
• Logistics management experience.
