Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Comfortable with public speaking and cross-functional communication
- Ability to operate standard shop hand tools, equipment, and hoists safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree required or 5 years of experience in a logistics environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience supervising or leading logistics, shipping, or receiving teams preferred
- Familiarity with freight carriers, courier services, and international shipping processes preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise shipping and receiving associates to ensure efficient daily operations
- Communicate with global districts to coordinate shipping needs and requirements
- Determine and ensure compliance with country-specific shipping protocols and regulations
- Communicate daily and weekly shipping requirements with shipping and receiving teams
- Review, manage, and maintain active contracts with freight, courier, and hot shot providers in partnership with the Supply Chain Manager
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to prioritize and execute hot shipments in a timely manner
- Oversee employee timecards and ensure accuracy prior to manager approval
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, company procedures, and operational guidelines
- Set a strong example by adhering to company policies and best practices
- Participate in all required meetings, training, and development activities
- Ability to communicate, including the ability to read, write, and speak English and promptly follow verbal and written directions in English
- Perform other related duties as assigned
