About The Position

This role will play a pivotal role in partnering with the respective Canada cluster CSC Sr Manager. The primary focus is on supporting the commercial business development of the country cluster by delivering reliable and responsive service for logistics at sites and distribution sites. The role owns and develops the Country cluster logistics strategy and route to market by identifying and balancing key drivers from an economic, industry, customer and competitive landscape perspective. It involves partnership with and leveraging the GBS process towers & site logistics teams, acting as an advocate for E2E integration and efficiency. Active relationship management and engagement with central planning & logistics functions, regional supply chain teams and operations is key, serving as the primary point of contact for all logistic related items in the Country cluster. The role ensures local market intelligence and day-to-day operations are in line with global, regional and local goals (e.g. SLAs, budgets, lead times, …) and owns the Cluster country logistics & service level. It actively participates in the demand validation and sign-off of the Country cluster CSC Sr Manager, develops joint business plans with key customers, and enables customer intimacy & proximity. The role supports the development of robust weekly plans and forecast consumption assumptions, leading country cluster logistics discussions in partnership with the Country cluster CSC Sr Manager. It serves as the SPOC of the Country cluster for any Global/Regional logistics projects and ensures Global/Regional processes and policies are implemented and adhered to. Support with regional warehouse and transportation needs with the Head of Logistics and the network strategy is also a part of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in any business / supply chain discipline
  • Proficient in English and French
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Commercially savvy and balanced professional (excels in expectation management)
  • Ability to lead and manage change in a complex environment
  • Min 10+ years of overall experience
  • 5+ years of relevant domain experience in food distribution industry
  • Demonstrated experience in leading successful & sustainable change management for customer centric supply chains
  • Can work across diverse sales personalities and needs of various business units and customers
  • Proactive and collaborative approach, demonstrated people leadership via direct and indirect influencing
  • Experience in leading customer facing functions set-up/scale-up/transformation
  • Critical thinking, ability to spot trends and work with large data, multiple stakeholders and challenging context
  • Direct experience in continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems
  • Hands-on, data driven
  • Problem solving skills through root cause analysis
