About The Position

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Manager, Local Co-op Financial Planning & Analysis on a full-time permanent basis within our Finance team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Requirements

• Have a Business Degree with preference for accounting or finance.
• Have 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial planning, analysis, accounting, or related finance functions.
• A professional designation in accounting (CPA) required.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial health and long-term viability of local Co-ops through financial analysis, forecasting, balance sheet management, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead and support financial training initiatives for local Co-op General Managers, Finance Managers, Boards of Directors, and operational leaders.
• Conduct project feasibility assessments, scenario analysis, and forecasting to support investment and operational decision-making.
• Provide guidance on accounting practices, member equity management, financial policies, and unusual accounting transactions.
• Collaborate with local Co-ops and internal business partners to support finance initiatives, organizational projects, and system changes.
• Develop and maintain financial templates, procedures, and processes to support consistency, operational effectiveness, and informed decision-making across the Co-operative Retailing System.
• Deliver training to local Co-op team members on a variety of financial topics to grow financial acumen across the CRS.
