Manager Linen/EVS Operations
About The Position
This is a full-time leadership position on the 2nd shift. The Manager Linen/EVS Operations assists the Director with organizing, directing, coordinating, and supervising functions and activities to maintain the hospital environment in a sanitary and orderly condition that complies with regulatory requirements. This role also assists with the selection, training/orientation, scheduling, and assignment of departmental colleagues, supervises environmental functions and activities, and oversees the care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies/materials. Performs other job-related duties within job scope as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent / GED
- Must demonstrate the ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write the English language.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Director with organizing, directing, coordinating and supervising functions and activities to maintain the hospital environment in a sanitary and orderly condition that complies with regulatory requirements.
- Assists with selection, training/orientation, scheduling and assignment of departmental colleagues.
- Supervises environmental functions and activities.
- Supervises care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies/materials.
- Performs other job-related duties within job scope as requested by supervisor.
