About The Position

The Manager, Life Services is responsible to collaborate with the Executive Director to establish operational goals for Life Services. This role involves assisting in the development and provision of life services for the Medicaid-eligible population, communicating and promoting an approach to member enhancement with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with the annual operating budget in conjunction with the Executive Director and corporate services. The manager will also support local strategy efforts and operational planning, coordinate the delivery of all required operational services and programs, and recruit, develop, and lead direct reports including Coaches, Advocates, and a Training Associate. Additionally, the role includes implementing and directing the CareSource Life Services coaching and mentoring programs in collaboration with CareSource University (CSU).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of management experience is required.
  • Employment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver’s license record check.
  • Employment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a criminal background check.
  • Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position. CareSource requires annual proof of Influenza vaccination for designated positions during Influenza season (October 1 – March 31) as a condition of continued employment.
  • A valid driver’s license, car, and insurance are necessary for work related travel.
