About The Position

The Manager, Legal Operations, will support the Legal Team by managing complex legal matters while navigating internal and external stakeholder relationships. This individual will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic initiatives to streamline workflows and contract lifecycle management. This role provides and analyzes legal department metrics data, manages technology adoption, and coordinates workflow for the legal team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Technology, or Law required
  • 8+ years years in management, with experience in legal operations or business operations required
  • 8+ years experience in large corporations preferred
  • Strong business acumen, financial management (P&L), and proficiency in legal tech platforms
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of legal technologies and software
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (Westlaw/LexisNexis), matter management, and document management systems
  • Strong data analysis skills to measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Nice To Haves

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the legal department's strategic roadmap and managing day-to-day operations
  • Implement legal technology (e.g., matter management, contract management) and utilizes data to measure performance and improve efficiency
  • Oversee expense tracking for specific matters within the legal budget
  • Manage documentation related to legal matters and processes (e.g., immigration process, discovery requests, litigation holds)
  • Maintain external law firm relationships
  • Support legal leadership with data-driven insights, metrics, and reporting on KPIs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized procedures for legal processes to ensure scalability
