About The Position

Groupe Touchette Real Estate is seeking a Manager, Leasing to lead all real estate leasing activities across Canada. This role will oversee both tenant representation for the company’s national distribution network and landlord representation for the company’s investment real estate portfolio. The position requires a real estate professional with deep expertise in industrial leasing and logistics real estate, as well as experience managing all assets types from a landlord perspective. The Manager will be responsible for executing leasing strategies, negotiating transactions, and optimizing the company’s real estate portfolio to support operational growth and investment performance.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of commercial real estate leasing experience
  • Strong experience in industrial / logistics real estate
  • Experience representing both landlords and tenants
  • Proven ability negotiating complex commercial leases
  • Strong understanding of Canadian real estate markets
  • Experience managing multi-market portfolios
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Bilingualism required: Proficiency in English is required due to the nature of interactions with predominantly English-speaking clients and partners across Canada. This language is used frequently in both written and verbal communications. An advanced level is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead leasing strategy for Groupe Touchette’s national distribution and logistics facilities
  • Identify and secure warehouse and distribution locations aligned with operational requirements
  • Negotiate leases, renewals, expansions, relocations, and build-to-suit opportunities
  • Manage relationships with brokers, developers, and landlords across Canada
  • Coordinate site selection, financial analysis, and lease negotiations
  • Support warehouse expansion and logistics optimization initiatives
  • Lead leasing for the company’s investment real estate portfolio, including office, retail, and industrial assets
  • Develop and execute leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income
  • Oversee tenant negotiations, renewals, and leasing campaigns
  • Work with external leasing brokers where appropriate
  • Analyze market conditions and rental trends
  • Provide strategic oversight of the company’s real estate portfolio
  • Evaluate acquisitions, dispositions, and development opportunities
  • Manage lease expiries and optimize portfolio risk
  • Provide financial analysis including rent comparables, lease economics, and portfolio performance
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams on capital planning
  • Manage external brokerage relationships across Canadian markets
  • Coordinate with legal counsel on lease documentation
  • Work with internal teams including operations, finance, and executive leadership
