About The Position

Contributes to the overall success of the Global HR Operations ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Business or pursing education in related field
  • Knowledge of information management within service and transaction-oriented areas
  • Experience on UX Design using digital design tools
  • Excellent organizational and management skills. Be able to handle project complexity as well as manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work effectively with others and thrive in collaborative environments.
  • Proven teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • People management experience is considered an asset
  • Spanish fluency (written and spoken) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Updates and inputs HR content to all knowledge management tools to support HR initiatives
  • Ensures data maintenance is in accordance with established guidelines and standard regulations
  • Provides guidance to stakeholders and content owners to determine best content delivery approach for presenting HR information to employees by sharing best practices in content management solutions
  • Ensures that content design aligns with the KM Standards including use of policy and guide templates, Accessibility, use of employee friendly language and adherence to Scotiabank branding standards
  • Acts as advisor to promote Knowledge Management Governance to ensure bank records are stored appropriately (I.e. Box)
  • Ensures that new content is linked appropriately to existing content if required
  • Supports cyclical HR campaigns (Pulse, RRSP , etc); by providing reports and analyzing data to make improvement recommendations
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk
