About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead our technology operations, infrastructure, and support services. This role is responsible for managing a team, overseeing IT systems, driving projects, and maintaining a secure, reliable technology environment. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep Microsoft 365 E5 expertise, and a willingness to contribute directly to day-to-day operations when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of IT management experience
  • Proven experience leading technical teams
  • Proven experience managing helpdesk operations
  • Proven experience delivering IT projects
  • Proven experience managing documentation and IT assets
  • Proven experience building and maintaining vendor relationships
  • Strong understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles
  • Strong understanding of disaster recovery planning
  • Strong understanding of MS Windows environment
  • Microsoft 365 E5 ecosystem including: Entra (Azure AD), Defender suite, Purview, Intune, Teams (Conferencing and Phone systems)
  • Willingness and ability to take a hands-on approach to technical work when needed
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution
  • Ability to work in the office 5 days a week
  • Ability to address emergency issues afterhours/weekends

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Conduct regular employee performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching
  • Manage workloads, priorities, and resource allocation across the team
  • Oversee helpdesk operations to ensure timely and effective user support
  • Participate in hands-on technical work when required, especially during critical deadlines
  • Maintain and improve IT documentation standards and processes
  • Manage IT asset lifecycle including procurement, tracking, and disposal
  • Lead and deliver IT projects from planning through execution
  • Establish and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
  • Evaluate vendor performance, contracts, and service levels
  • Ensure implementation and ongoing management of security best practices
  • Oversee systems related to MFA, endpoint security, and identity management
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies
  • Maintain awareness and oversight of network infrastructure and security camera systems
  • Oversee administration and maintenance of Windows Servers, VMware, workstations and storage systems
