The IT Manager will oversee IT operations, including networks, servers, cloud services, telephony, and end-user support. This role ensures maximum up-time and performance of IT systems and infrastructure, monitors and maintains hardware, software, and telecommunications systems, and manages IT-related disaster recovery and business continuity plans. The IT Manager will provide leadership, mentor, and supervise the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. They will oversee the day-to-day activities of the IT department, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and will assign tasks, manage workloads, and conduct performance evaluations. This role requires a hands-on leadership approach, with the ability to transition from strategic planning and team management to direct technical execution when business needs require. The IT Manager will serve as the lead technician, providing technical support and expertise to resolve complex issues, and will stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in IT to recommend and implement innovative solutions. They will coordinate any/all changes with the Managed Services Provider (MSP) and employ a proactive IT approach through continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance, and issue prevention to minimize issues and enhance reliability. Additionally, the IT Manager will lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, and will communicate changes. They will collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs, coordinate with Harmony Executives and MSP, and oversee system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations. Budget, timeline, and resource management are key aspects of this role. The IT Manager will evaluate and recommend technology solutions that provide business value and cost efficiency, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors and service providers. They will develop and manage IT budgets across sites and various programs and develop and execute an organizational IT strategic roadmap, ensuring technology initiatives align with business goals and long-term growth objectives. Identifying opportunities for process improvement through technology is also a responsibility. The IT Manager will serve as the primary liaison between IT and leadership, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable business solutions, and communicating technology strategies, project updates, and performance metrics to executive leadership.
