About The Position

This role involves steering and leading the maintenance, administration, and development of the IT network and overall infrastructure. The Manager IT will manage end-user needs by ensuring uptime, performance, and resource availability within established budgets and operational guidelines. Key responsibilities include leading the acquisition, installation, and upgrading of computer components and software, as well as planning for and responding to service outages and other problems. The role also involves steering the automation of routine tasks using scripting and overseeing the writing of basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement. Additionally, the Manager IT will oversee the operational execution of backup, recovery, and disaster prevention.

Requirements

• Experience in IT network and infrastructure maintenance, administration, and development
• Experience managing end-user needs and ensuring system uptime and performance
• Experience with acquisition, installation, and upgrading of computer components and software
• Experience in planning for and responding to service outages
• Experience with automation using scripting
• Experience overseeing backup, recovery, and disaster prevention operations
