About The Position

The IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager oversee MRP Solution’s IT infrastructure, network, and operations for our manufacturing businesses. In this role, you will work with the CIO, Key Business Stakeholders, and other IT leaders to develop an IT Infrastructure and Network Strategy that is forward thinking and promotes and supports the company’s technological transformation. You will also be responsible for all activities that optimize the value, cost, and risk of infrastructure and cloud solutions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business management or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure, Network, and Operations
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience building cross-organizational consensus with exposure to technology providers and/or business clients
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing a high-performing, cohesive team
  • Proven track record for implementation of transformational enterprise infrastructure and network architecture, specifically Cloud Architecture and SD-WAN solutions
  • Work with hybrid enterprise infrastructure environment of Cloud-Based and On-Premise solutions ensuring that the enterprise infrastructure and network is utilized to maximum capabilities
  • Experience managing Office/Microsoft 365 solutions for email, active directory (Azure AD), and related offerings
  • Experience managing server infrastructure utilizing Virtual Server environments (VMWare, AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a service (Iaas)
  • Manage multiple vendor teams that provide infrastructure, network, and operations support
  • Successfully communicate technical concepts to non-technical people in a way that drives results.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
  • Manufacturing industry background including knowledge supporting Regulatory Validated systems and processes

Responsibilities

  • Directs and oversee the evaluation of current and future enterprise infrastructure and network needs and managing the design and application of information systems that help the enterprise infrastructure of the organization.
  • Develop productive relationships with IT and business leaders across the organization to influence how the enterprise infrastructure and network architecture can enable new sources of value.
  • Work with the CIO, business stakeholders, and other IT leaders to develop overall IT infrastructure and network strategy in the context of the business strategy.
  • Develop productive relationships with business leaders across the organization and other IT teams to ensure infrastructure and network operation and support are meeting expected levels of service, quality, and performance.
  • Lead, empower, and motivate your team through mentorship and coaching.
  • Develop and enhance the practices for the infrastructure, network, and IT operations management so that we are following practical best practices and continuously looking for ways to improve.
  • Oversee relationships with major vendors and service providers, ensuring they cost-effectively meet business needs.
  • Ensure IT Operations processes (including external service providers) are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, environmental and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation.
  • Work with the information security team to ensure infrastructure and network is secure and risks are mitigated.
  • Work with stakeholders to accomplish the infrastructure, network, and operations strategy in a way that improves the business and technical fitness of the IT infrastructure and support operations and minimizes its ongoing support costs.
  • Oversee support activities in conjunction with applications team to ensure the infrastructure and network supporting applications perform well in production.
  • Perform other tasks as directed.

  • Monitors and verifies activities to ensure that finished goods and raw materials are coming in and out of the facility meet consumer safety and quality standards.
  • Complies with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures
  • Reports any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured products to the location’s Food Safety Team Leader and submits an appropriate incident report
