  • CPA designation, CPA in progress, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial governance in an operational or business management context.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, financial controls, and data quality.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial information and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using financial systems, reporting tools, dashboards, or related business management platforms.
  • Ability to manage recurring deadlines, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting IT financial management, technology operations, project portfolio financials, software financial management, or cloud cost management.
  • Exposure to FinOps, cloud cost tools, software license management, cost allocations, chargebacks, or contract reconciliation.
  • Understanding of project management principles, particularly budgeting, resource allocation, and portfolio reporting.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and partnering with both business and finance stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing executive-ready reporting, financial summaries, dashboards, or presentation materials.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual budget development, forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, and business planning activities across ITS.
  • Monitor spend against approved budgets, identify variances, risks, and data quality issues, and provide insights to support timely management action.
  • Prepare financial analysis, cost modelling, and reporting to support ITS leadership decisions, operational planning, and proposed technology investments.
  • Support the financial management of the ITS project portfolio, including budget tracking, resource allocation, cost reporting, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of FTEs, headcount, contractor resources, charge codes, cost allocations, and related business management data.
  • Review and validate purchase orders, invoices, actuals, and financial submissions to ensure accuracy, completeness, proper coding, and budget alignment.
  • Support cloud and software financial management activities, including cost allocation, chargebacks, contract reconciliation, and reporting on actuals versus forecast.
  • Contribute to cloud cost management and FinOps practices, including budget tracking, forecasting, monthly cost allocation, KPI reporting, and dashboard maintenance.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis, reporting, and presentation materials to support ITS operations, portfolio discussions, executive updates, and leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure IT financial management practices align with Firm policies, governance expectations, and appropriate accounting treatment for technology and resourcing spend.
  • Contribute to process documentation, standardization, continuous improvement, and stronger financial discipline across ITS business management and finance operations.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance, ITS stakeholders, and leadership teams to improve financial visibility, operational effectiveness, and accountability across ITS.
