About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Inventory Control to lead inventory accuracy, cycle counting, physical inventory, and inventory optimization efforts within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This individual will oversee inventory across raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, and service inventory while partnering closely with Supply Chain, Production, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and IT. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills and experience managing complex inventory operations within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
5+ years of inventory control experience within a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of leadership or management experience.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, physical inventory, and warehouse operations.
Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience analyzing and reporting inventory data.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders throughout the organization.

Nice To Haves

Experience within electronics, technology hardware, server, semiconductor, or contract manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting large-scale or high-volume manufacturing and distribution operations.
APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM or CSCP.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with WMS, barcode scanning, and automated inventory tracking technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead inventory control operations across raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and service inventory.
Develop and maintain inventory accuracy standards, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
Manage cycle count programs and annual physical inventory processes.
Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure inventory transactions are accurately maintained within ERP and warehouse systems.
Partner with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance to maintain inventory integrity and material availability.
Identify opportunities to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
Develop and maintain inventory control policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Lead inventory reconciliations and support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and process standardization.
Support new product introductions, engineering change orders (ECOs), and material transitions.
Partner with IT and business systems teams to improve inventory-related processes and system functionality.
Manage, coach, and develop inventory control team members.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, customer requirements, and audit standards.
