About The Position

Boston Dynamics is looking for a strategic, highly motivated leadership professional to join our integration organization as the Manager of our Integration Project Management team within the Customer Experience organization, reporting to the Senior Director of Customer Solutions & Integration. In this role, you will lead a team of Strategic Integration Project Managers (IPMs), Execution IPMs, and Integration Operations Coordinators, overseeing a portfolio of complex customer deliveries across our robotics product lines. The ideal candidate combines a strong technical background with proven people management capabilities, driving operational excellence, defining delivery standards, and ensuring high-quality, scalable customer installations in commercial and industrial environments. Operating at both tactical and strategic levels, you will partner closely with senior leadership, Field Applications Engineering, Service and Support, Finance, and Business Operations to elevate our project delivery model. As a key leader within our delivery organization, you will build and mentor a high-performing project management team, optimize cross-functional delivery frameworks, and serve as an executive escalation point for portfolio risks and project commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering) or a related technical field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive technical project/program management experience, with at least 4+ years of direct people leadership experience managing project managers or technical leads.
  • Proven track record of managing portfolios of complex, multi-disciplinary technology integrations, robotics, or electromechanical integrations in customer-facing environments.
  • Deep expertise in project/portfolio management principles, resource forecasting, critical path methodology, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and standardizing project management frameworks, tools, and processes across teams.
  • High technical fluency across hardware/software integration, controls, network architecture, and customer site operations.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with proven ability to influence senior business and technical leaders internally and externally.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certifications in project/program management (e.g., PgMP, PMP, Agile/Scrum).
  • Direct project leadership experience with autonomous mobile robots (AMR), unstructured robotic implementations, or industrial automation/inspection solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory, safety, and installation standards in commercial/industrial facilities.
  • Advanced power-user expertise in enterprise tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and Salesforce for portfolio tracking and workflow automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational transformation and lead high-performing teams through fast-paced growth and change.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, manage, mentor, and develop a multi-tiered team including Strategic IPMs managing scaled, large-scale, and complex multi-site integrations; Execution IPMs focused on standard site-level integrations and early accounts; and Integration Operations Coordinators directly reporting to this position to streamline operational workflows.
  • Establish robust program governance, executive alignment, and methodology standardization to ensure consistent quality and repeatable execution across the enterprise portfolio; maintain comprehensive risk registers and mitigation strategies to proactively manage delivery risks and guide execution frameworks.
  • Own the integration delivery strategy across robotics product lines, driving portfolio health, project schedules, resource allocation, and financial tracking; define clear value targets and business objectives upfront for all customer engagements while leveraging Smartsheet and Salesforce integrations to optimize FAE skill-set matching, vertical expertise, and capacity management across deployments.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Field Applications Engineering, Product, Service, Customer Success, and Business Operations to align integration roadmaps, prioritize resources, and manage portfolio-level dependencies.
  • Establish operational standards for third-party vendors, subcontractors, and on-site integration activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality control requirements.
  • Standardize tools, templates, and deployment processes across enterprise platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Salesforce) to drive consistent, scalable execution and seamless integration across technical and operational systems; optimize operational efficiency, reduce support friction, and enable customer self-sufficiency over time through automated status reporting, weekly newsletter updates, and field log aggregation.
  • Enforce strict SOW compliance, change orders for scope variations, and rigorous phased Go/No-Go decision gates based on site-readiness checklists, technical evaluation criteria, and hardware checkouts; act as the primary escalation point for critical roadblocks, customer interface challenges, and installation risks.
  • Provide executive-level visibility into portfolio health, program risks, and revenue milestone completion; continuously measure and communicate realized value, return on investment, and expansion opportunities to support financial and operational reporting requirements.
