As Manager, Instrument Flight Procedure Design Service, you’ll lead a highly skilled team responsible for delivering critical instrument flight procedure design services that underpin the safe and timely production of aeronautical information used across Canada. In this leadership role, you’ll ensure operational excellence and full compliance with regulatory and industry standards – including CARs, TP308, ICAO Annexes 4 and 15 and the NAV CANADA Level of Service Policy – while supporting the evolving needs of NAV CANADA’s customers, Air Traffic Control and Management Operations, airports, and other stakeholders. Your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on aviation safety. You’ll oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of flight procedures, and support safety impact assessments to ensure aeronautical data remains accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose. Through close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll help ensure IFP services are delivered efficiently today and remain well positioned for the future. This is a unique opportunity to shape how essential aviation data is designed, managed, and published, while leading innovation, fostering a high-performing team, and upholding the highest standards of safety and service across the aviation system.
