About The Position

The Manager of Innovation and Commercialization Portfolio is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of innovation initiatives that drive business growth and competitive advantage. This role involves overseeing the identification, evaluation, and commercialization of new technologies, products, or services from concept through market launch. The manager will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, sales, and external partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and customer needs. They will also manage a portfolio of projects, balancing resources and priorities to maximize return on investment and accelerate time-to-market. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in transforming innovative ideas into viable commercial opportunities that contribute to the company’s long-term success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in innovation management, product development, or commercialization roles.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and portfolios in a corporate or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, technology evaluation, and business case development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of the innovation and commercialization portfolio, including project selection, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and technology opportunities.
  • Develop and implement commercialization strategies that optimize product launch success and market penetration.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and coordination to ensure timely delivery of innovation projects within budget and scope.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership for continuous improvement.
