About The Position

The Commercialization Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful introduction of new products across global markets. This position leads cross‑functional teams—including Supply Chain, Category, R&D, Creative, and Regulatory—to develop end‑to‑end supply chain solutions, ensuring that new product launches and product transitions meet quality, timeline, and operational requirements. The ideal candidate is a highly organized project leader who excels in fast‑paced, matrixed environments, brings strong supply chain and product development expertise, and can drive process improvements to enhance the speed and quality of commercialization.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, product development, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-functional or multi-market product launches.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional partners across all levels.
  • Experience working with suppliers, both domestic and international.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage complex, multi‑workstream projects.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Expertise with standard project management tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.

  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members.
  • Ability to lead through influence without direct authority.
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain operations, engineering, or production planning—preferably in food, consumer products, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience leading process improvement or new product introduction (NPI) initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Apply industry-standard project management and product development methodologies to guide project execution.
  • Define project scope, goals, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure clear alignment of project objectives and financial goals across all participating teams.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, driving action plans to address them.
  • Provide regular, clear communication of project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across supply chain, operations, category, and product development functions.
  • Facilitate meetings, maintain alignment, and ensure teams remain focused on launch objectives.
  • Serve as the supply chain subject‑matter expert within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Communicate critical program information to leadership as needed.
  • Oversee supply chain commercialization activities from early concept through launch and operations handoff.
  • Ensure supply continuity, operational readiness, and cross‑functional execution for complex product introductions.
  • Support optimization or process improvement initiatives related to go‑to‑market execution.
  • Continuously refine commercialization processes to improve launch speed, quality, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to development of best practices, standard operating procedures, and portfolio governance.
  • Mentor and support project managers working within the commercialization framework.
