The Manager, Industry Specialty Services is responsible for maintaining client relationships, providing client support in the areas of accounting, contracts, and pricing, and overseeing assigned associates and senior associates. This role involves ensuring client compliance with the Service Contract Act (SCA), managing project phases, and working directly with clients to achieve project objectives. The position also requires expertise in designing and analyzing direct and indirect cost rate structures, including the preparation of forward pricing models. A key aspect of the role is participating in the government contract bidding process, which includes preparing and negotiating equitable adjustments and termination claims, providing strategic pricing assistance, analyzing RFPs, and preparing cost proposals. The Manager will interpret Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to provide recommendations, prepare client Disclosure Statements, and interpret Small Business Administration Rules (SBAR) and regulations, including minority participation requirements for 8(a) and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) programs. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and developing policies and procedures related to accounting, contracts, and pricing for client initiatives to secure new business, which may include participating in Business Development meetings, developing client relationships, and networking. The Manager also serves as a member of the consulting group’s management team, supervising, developing, and training Associates and Senior Associates, reviewing their work, and providing feedback.
