About The Position

The Manager of Industrial Tire Solutions and Services is a senior, revenue-generating leader responsible for driving statewide growth, market expansion, and operational excellence for Brice Equipment’s commercial tire business across Alaska. This role owns the full commercial lifecycle from strategic business development and key account acquisition to solution design, service delivery oversight, and long-term customer value creation. This position serves as a trusted advisor to the business unit leadership and customers, translating market intelligence into actionable growth strategies while building a scalable, high-performance commercial/industrial tire solutions business. This manager will lead complex deal pursuits, establish strategic partnerships, and position Brice Equipment as the premier provider of commercial/industrial tire and undercarriage solutions across mining, construction, and oil & gas sectors. The position is Alaska based and requires regular travel to customer sites across the oil and gas, industrial, and mining markets to provide expert consultation, product demonstrations, and hands-on service support.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the commercial and industrial tire industry, including mining, construction, and oil & gas applications, with a demonstrated ability to read and interpret contracts, proposals, and related documents.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, above average mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base across multiple industries.
  • Technical knowledge of tire products, tire management systems, and service practices, including the ability to explain complex tire specifications and solutions in clear, practical terms.
  • Ability to take an analytical approach to diagnosing tire-related issues and providing recommended product or service solutions.
  • Ability to understand client operational challenges and provide tailored tire product and service solutions through a customer-focused sales approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving tire technologies, customer needs, and market demands.
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent.
  • Skilled in identifying, pursuing, and closing new business development opportunities within the tire sales and service market.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, tire vendors, manufacturers, and customers, with exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively in pursuit of goals in a remote environment with limited oversight.
  • Ability to conduct business ethically with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to comply with and enforce standard policies and procedures.

  • Ability to travel for work-related purposes, including customer site visits across Alaska (up to 60% of the time).

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five (5 to 7) years of experience in tire sales, tire service, or a related field such as technical services, equipment solutions, or heavy equipment maintenance required.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and territory management required.
  • Valid state driver’s license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company’s Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tire manufacturers, OEM organizations, distributors, or dealers serving the mining, construction, or oil and gas industries preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of commercial and industrial tire products, wheel assemblies, tracks, and tire management systems preferred.
  • Current Class A CDL license and valid medical card preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver aggressive revenue and margin targets across Alaska, with accountability for a multi-million-dollar territory.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy focused on market penetration, share expansion, and new vertical entry.
  • Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities, including enterprise and multi-site contracts.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with disciplined forecasting and CRM rigor.
  • Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and deal structuring to maximize profitability and long-term value.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key and strategic accounts, building C-suite and operational relationships.
  • Position as a consultative partner by diagnosing operational challenges and delivering tailored tire lifecycle solutions.
  • Drive customer retention through value-based selling, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent Brice Equipment at industry events, trade associations, and customer executive briefings.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity, service requests, and customer communications in CRM systems.
  • Act as the senior subject matter expert on commercial and industrial tire systems, lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
  • Lead the design and delivery of integrated solutions including tires, wheels, tracks, and service programs.
  • Oversee on-site assessments, performance audits, and ROI-driven recommendations for customers.
  • Partner with OEMs and manufacturers to align product strategy with customer requirements and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct on-site tire inspections and assessments to evaluate customer needs, recommend appropriate products, and identify service opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to field service coordination, ensuring seamless execution of installations, maintenance, and support.
  • Coordinate with Tire Operations Manager on services for tire installations, rotations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and after sales support.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance to ensure efficient delivery, cost control, and service quality.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and scalability of tire service offerings.
  • Influence resource planning and capital investment decisions to support growth objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and Brice company policies.
  • Work as a team player with co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Seek out and participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
